My friend Jay sent me a text a couple of days ago. It was a forwarded text from a University of Melbourne student announcing that Angela Davis was speaking on campus. To say the least I was excited. I had never seen her speak in person. I got to the Sidney Myer Asia Centre about a hour and a half early. And I wasn’t the first person there.
